Pilates increases flexibility, co –ordination, balance, motor control, relaxation and enhances your breathing awareness.
The hall is architecturally refurbished and has a warm natural light, enhanced by a soaring timber ceiling. Fully earthquake strengthened, it has been home to the Pilates Flow classes for a number of years.
There is a side entrance.
The movements are helpful for those who have undergone successful hip and knee replacements and or shoulder reconstruction. Necks and backs respond to Pilates in a strengthening way. Reducing niggles.
I have been passionately instructing Pilates since 2007, and have worked alongside some excellent instructors, and continue to regularly attend workshops, constantly upskilling.
Traditional Pilates forms the basis of the classes, but modern variations enhance the movement.

Mat classes are suitable for all ages….5 to 85 years and beyond.
Mat classes are taught using a variety of props. The mats and props are all supplied, and cleaned daily in response to Covid alerts.
Classes are 45minutes in length.
Comfortable clothing is essential.

$20 per class
$145 for 10 classes
There is online banking available

Cash is also accepted.
Class participants often will join together after a class for coffee, sharing chat and laughter, a social aspect is an added benefit.
